We have a proven track record in providing sensible solutions to meet our clients' needs, by combining our experience with the latest technology and an up to date knowledge of the law.

Our Services, we specialise in...

What We Do:

Find out more about what we do by selecting an area of law above.

Litigation:

We have a proven track record when it comes to Litigation, and have acted for both large and small companies, as well as private individuals.

There are many steps that can be taken to avoid time consuming and costly litigation; we will explore all avenues with you to resolve a dispute. However if it becomes unavoidable and you need someone in your corner, we will be with you every step of the way.

We will continually advise and inform you during the process, of possible solutions and strategies, but ultimately we work for you and will follow your instructions.

Residential Property:

Whether you are buying or selling an investment property or the family home we would recommend contacting us as early in the transaction as possible.  This is when we can provide our best advice.

We will advise you on all the necessary aspects of buying or selling your property such as finance, registering a new mortgage or discharging an old one.

Please feel free to call or e-mail for a quote.

Commercial Property:

The buying and selling of commercial property or businesses can be quite complex, we can negotiate on your behalf to ensure the rental and lease terms are in your best interest, and meet your needs.

Subdivisions:

We have expertise in the processes involved in subdivisions, and the steps that are required. Our experience in this area can ensure your project is completed within the shortest time frame possible, this will minimize costly overruns.

Debt Recovery:

We are skilled in debt recovery for our clients. Often we find that a strongly worded letter on our letter head has the desired effect. Sometimes it is necessary to start legal proceedings, whereby the courts can put a charging order on property or even issue bankruptcy notices. Just the threat of these measures can result in a successful outcome for our clients.

Trust & Assets Protection:

We currently administer a large number of Trusts for our clients.

We provide advice on the most appropriate structure for your phase and stage of life. Family Trusts are the most common as they can provide asset protection at any stage in life. However a Family Trust is not for everyone and it is therefore important to seek advice sooner rather than later.

Wills & Assets:

The buying or selling of property is also a good time to ensure you have an up to date Will. No one likes to think about the need for a will, but as the saying goes Death and taxes are the only certainties in life and we are fully experienced in estate planning and estate management.

Forestry Rights:

Forestry rights and the relationship between forestry owners and land owners and territorial authorities are all important matters for those involved in the forestry industry and we can help with your queries.

Leaking Buildings:

We have a strong specialization in acting on behalf of home owners, builders, related services providers and Body Corporate in respect to not only problems caused by the ingress of water homes and buildings, but also other construction defects which have occurred during the relevant time.

Ownership Structure:

We will also discuss with you the ownership structure that best meets your circumstances. This maybe a Family Trust, or a simple Joint or individual ownership.

Resource Management & Building Act:

We have the expertise to assist you with any planning problems which may arise, whether it is a neighbour who is trying to push the boundaries or a situation where you are endeavouring to obtain consent in the face of opposition from Council or neighbours.

Construction Contract Act:

Again, if you are involved in the building industry and are either providing services or being provided services, you need to have good and up to date advice regarding your contracts, invoices, and disputes resolution. We can help with all of this.

Family & Relationship Property:

The break up of a relationship is a very stressful time but a time when efficient and prompt legal advice can assist in making sure a mountain is not made out of a molehill. We are here to provide solutions and not litigation at this time.

FAQs

Once you purchase the domain we will push it into an account for you at our registrar, NameBright.com, we will then send you an email with your NameBright username and password. In most cases access to the domain will be available within one to two hours of purchase, however access to domains purchased after business hours will be available within the next business day.

Yes you can transfer your domain to any registrar or hosting company once you have purchased it. Since domain transfers are a manual process, it can take up to 48 hours to transfer the domain.

Once you have received access to your account with the domain's current registrar you will be able to move the domain to any registrar of your choosing.

* When a domain is purchased on a payment plan, a registrar-lock is placed on the domain until all payments have been made. This registrar-lock prevents transfers.

Nothing else is included with the purchase of the domain name. Our registrar NameBright.com does offer email packages for a yearly fee, however you will need to find hosting and web design services on your own.

Yes we offer payment plans for up to 12 months. See details.

If you wish the domain ownership information to be private, add WhoIs Privacy Protection to your domain. This hides your personal information from the general public.

To add privacy protection to your domain, do so within your registrar account. NameBright offers WhoIs Privacy Protection for free for the first year, and then for a small fee for subsequent years.

Whois information is not updated immediately. It typically takes several hours for Whois data to update, and different registrars are faster than others. Usually your Whois information will be fully updated within two days.

It's easy to think a domain name and a website are the same. While they are related, they are very different things.

• A domain name is like the address of your home. It just tells people where to go to find you.
• Websites are the code and content that you provide.
• A web host is a service that provides technology, allowing your website to be seen on the Internet.
